Fighting Illini Softball has returned to Eichelberger Field with Illinois hosting Minnesota for the 2015 Big Ten Opener this past Saturday. Despite favorable weather conditions and a good fan turnout, the Golden Gophers swept the three game weekend series, outscoring the Illini 28-5.
