Photo call: Mothers and Sons

According to the Station Theatre’s website, the play Mothers and Sons, by legendary playwright Terrence McNally (Love! Valour! Compassion!), is “at turns funny and powerful.” In it, Barbara Ridenour portrays “a woman who pays an unexpected visit to the New York apartment of her late son’s partner, who is now married to another man and has a young son. Challenged to face how society has changed around her, generations collide as she revisits the past and begins to see the life her son might have led.”

The following photos of the cast (who appear under the direction of Station Artistic Director Rick Orr), were captured by Scott Wells at the company’s final dress rehearsal.

The Station Theatre’s production of Mothers and Sons will continue through Saturday, April 11th. For reservations, visit the Station website or call 217-384-4000.
