Ontario’s Single Mother is sharing the stage with Power of Dusk, Champaign’s own Hardcore/Punk outfit, and Dead Rest from the Chicago underground scene. Hey, y’all; Ben, here. There are a few DJ’s playing around town on Turkey Day, but sadly I haven’t found any bands playing live, original music. Did I miss your show? Has no one sacrificed their time with family to help all of us avoiding time with our own families?
If you’re stuck with seeing loved ones (or just some people the cosmos saw fit with whom to make you share some genes), just know that I am thankful for each and every one of you who keeps the C-U music scene alive.
