We’re hard at work in the Smile Politely bunker putting together our end of year music lists, which will include local songs, albums and shows. So please take a moment this week to send a list of the five or so local albums and songs that stood out to you and your favorite live shows to music@smilepolitely.com. We’ll need your response by Saturday, December 10 in order to get this thing off the ground before we cease publishing for winter break.
If you don’t have a full list of five for each category, please let us know everything you can. If you don’t put your choices in an obvious ranked order, we will count all your picks equally. Your votes will carry the most weight, but we want to mention that the music editors reserve the right to tweak the lists if we feel someone is over represented (especially in the song category) or to publicize an act we think may have been overlooked.
