Acclaimed stand-up comedian Hannibal Buress is performing tomorrow, April 10th at 8 p.m., in the Illini Union. Here’s a short description of Buress and his work from the listing on the IU calendar:
Hannibal Buress has written for comedies such as 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live. Comedy Central named him Best Club Comic in 2012 and he has worked the late night circuit, appearing on everything from David Letterman to Jimmy Kimmel. His weekly web series, Talking to Strangers with Hannibal Buress, will debut in Spring 2013 with ?uestlove of The Roots as its first guest. He has been praised by peers such as Chris Rock and Aziz Ansari and is considered to be on the brink of superstardom. Tickets on sale at the Illini Union Quad Shop. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
