Lions in Winter 2014

The English Department and College of Arts and Humanities at Eastern Illinois University are pleased to announce that registration is open for their annual literary festival, Lions in Winter, which will be held on January 24 and 25 on the EIU campus in Charleston. Lions in Winter is a two-day literary festival featuring workshops, lectures, readings, a book fair, and more.

The workshops and editor’s panel on Jan. 25 require registration, which can be completed at the registration page. The cost is $40 and includes continental breakfast, lunch, an editor’s panel, and entry into either the visiting writer workshops or the genre workshops.

Students may register and attend the visiting writer workshops for free, or pay a $10 fee to add the lunch.

All Lions in Winter 2014 events will be held in the Doudna Fine Arts Center.

The readings on Friday and Saturday evenings are free and open to the public.
