Longtime local staple Braid has just announced they’re releasing their first full-length record in 16 years on July 8th of this year (after some news of them working on it previously), and they’re calling it No Coast. They’re releasing it on Top Shelf Records, and their first release since 2011’s EP Closer to Closed, and their first full-length release since 1998’s Frame & Canvas.

Should be interesting to see what they have up their sleeve for this one. You probably already know this release, which is still stellar to this day. From the Top Shelf release:

Those are some words I can live with. We’ll have to see on July 8th. They’re performing on July 12th for the Mariposa Music Festival here in C-U.
