Longtime local rock outfit The Chemicals have unveiled the details of their new record, Mono, which is out July 11th on Heirship Records. Their last record came in 2007, so it has been quite some time since that release. The band has been together since 2000, and have been playing here and there ever since around C-U. Several of the members perform in other local bands, including Tractor Kings, The Blackouts/The Living Blue, New Ruins, Lucky Mulholland, Wicked Walls, and Thundertruck.
Stream one of the new tracks below, and check them out when they release the record at Mike ‘N Molly’s with The Ghost Wolves, Me Jane, and the 92s in a couple of weeks.
