Venture out of C-U this summer and explore some working farms in Illinois, all operated by women. The Land Connection is offering five opportunities to do this through their Women Who Farm series. All destinations are within about an hour and a half from here, and you’ll be able to meet the farmers, tour their farms, do some hands-on activities, and enjoy refreshments, all for just $15.
