FOOD
Dancing Dog Eatery and Juicery will be catering food at Error (they’re across the street!) — so that will be available for RSD. Check out our review of Dancing Dog to get an idea of what you’re in for.
RECORD SWAP
114 E. University Avenue, Champaign
We said it last year, and we’ll say it again — Record Swap is still a must-visit stop for records not just on RSD, but throughout the year. If you haven’t done so already, check out our huge feature (part 1 and 2) from a few years back on the history of the shop. Vintage vinyl (on the cheap) will satisfy that area if you’re looking to dig in and crawl through the crates and crates of albums.
SHOWS
In addition to free shows and record store deals during the day, the weekend is packed with live music as well. Check out this week’s Overture to get caught up on what’s happening live music-wise that may or may not be related to Record Store Day.
