Weekender: July 1–4
Not surprisingly, there is very little of cultural worth happening around town this weekend, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying what we do have to offer. There’s always good stuff to experience in C-U.

Yeah, it’s a street festival weekend, but expand your horizons and let us share some of the other cultural opportunities available, in town and out.
We’re at the end of Spring, technically, so it’s officially time to start enjoying all that Summer in C-U has to offer. Go.
Wait. What’s this — the Weekender? Oh yes! Way back when, we used to tell you about what you should do each weekend in C-U. Well, we’re bringing it back!
This weekend, dress up with the help of a local institution, head south to a real ghost town, or watch folks chuck punkins’ real far at real targets.
Plenty of culture this weekend, from Rachel Corrie at the Station to Hip-Hop Culture at Krannert, and classical piano at the Urbana Free.
This weekend, come home to real haunts, real Po’ Boys, and real really really free stuff. It’s your town — now make something of it.
This weekend, go full racist, half racist, or just go out and try to have a good time.
This weekend, trip out with Floyd, the folksters, or Salt Fork river art festival.
Pay your respects to the fallen at the roller rink, and enjoy Ellnora in its free and paid formats — a great fall weekend. The Weekender returns…
