The City of Urbana is looking to help fund programs that serve young people from PreK through age 22 through their Youth Services Grants. Grant applicants need to demonstrate that the money would be used for low-income youth in at least one of three areas:
- Health (Healthcare, mental health resources, trauma support)
- Wellness (Recreation, after school programs, violence prevention, educational programming, mentoring)
- Opportunity (Workforce development, job training)
The application portal will open on March 7th, and there will be a Zoom workshop for applicants on March 11th at 12 p.m. Register in advance here.
The deadline for applications is Friday, April 8th by 4 p.m.
