The Urbana Arts and Culture Program and Urbana Free Library have two more installments of Young Artist’s Studio planned for the summer. The Young Artist’s Studio offers free art-making for children ages 5 and up (or younger with an adult helper).
June 23rd, 3 to 4 p.m.
Local artist Laurel Nobilette will work with kids to create masks and costumes from recycled paper and fabric materials.
July 21st, 3 to 4 p.m.
Local thespian, Kvn Tazjea, Director of the D.O.S.E. (Dreams Orchestrated Simply by Effort) Foundation, will facilitate theater games designed to teach skills in the performing arts.
