You should try this Tassel Twirling Workshop with Defy Gravity

Every year, Defy Gravity offers this workshop where you can learn how to make some tassel pasties twirl. This year, Jamie (aka Bettie Leigh of Carnivále Debauche) will be taking the workshop virtual.

From their Facebook page:

This year we’ll meet through the magic of Zoom to shake and shimmy together on a cold winter’s night. For those of you without tassel pasties, we’ll be hosting a free workshop a week earlier to make your very own pair. Be sure to sign up for the workshop to get a supply list ahead of time! On the night of the workshop, we’ll learn several techniques for twirling and learn a bit of choreography too. Feel free to have your video on or off, be fully or minimally clothed, out in your living room or behind locked doors, it’s up to you!  No nudity is required, but respect and privacy for other participants is!  Both workshops are open to all genders that are 18+.

If you would generally be a little shy about getting down to your pasties in person, in front of a bunch of other people, this the perfect opportunity to try something like this — in the comfort of your own home with no one else around.

The tassel making session is December 6th from 5 to 6 p.m. and is free. The twirling workshop is December 12th from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. and is pay-what-you-wish. You’ll find the sign ups for both here. Questions can be directed to jamie@defygravitycu.com.

Defy Gravity has a whole new slate of online offerings this month; many classes can be done without a pole or aerial appartus.
