The Eric Show is an annual juried high school art competition that takes place at the Illini Union. It was established by Dale and Peg Steffensen in honor of Dale’s son Eric, who was an aspiring artist at Urbana High School before he was killed by a drunk driver in 1970. The 11th annual show, hosted in partnership with 40 North, was supposed to happen last month, but of course it was derailed by Covid-19. Now, you can view the amazing works virtually on the Illini Union Facebook page.
