In my house there are times where we are woefully unprepared for a full week’s worth of dinners. There are some weeks I am so on it and have it all figured out, but sometimes life happens and necessary grocery store trips don’t.
I recently discovered that Betsy’s Bistro at the Fields has an option for ordering family dinners for pick up on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 4 and 5 p.m. They feature one meal each week that features a main dish and a side, and you can select add ons like breadsticks or salad for an upcharge. A meal for two is $12.99 plus tax, and a meal for four is $19.99 plus tax. The meal comes fully chef-prepared and cooked, and you are given reheating instructions.
They typically post the meal for the week on their Facebook page on Wednesdays. You can order online here. Make sure that you select a Wednesday or Thursday from the first drop down menu, and a time between 4 and 5 p.m. on the second drop down menu. That will get you to the right ordering screen.
Last week they offered chicken or eggplant parmesan with pasta and marinara sauce, as well as steamed veggies. This week chicken schnitzle, spaetzle, and braised red cabbage is on the menu.
