Spurlock Museum and the International and Area Studies Library are hosting a Bollywood watch party on July 14th beginning at 7 p.m.
They will be screening the movie Stree, a “Hindi-language horror-comedy takes a new look at a folk legend, centering on a ghostly bride and the terror she invokes in men who dare to come out at night.”
The hosts, Mara Thacker, Global Popular Culture and South Asian Studies Librarian, International and Area Studies Library and Beth Watkins, Spurlock Museum and Hindi film journalist will introduce the film and answers questions throughout and after the viewing. You will need to have a Netflix account to participate, and you’ll also need to download the Netflix Party extension.
