Hey, remember April Fools Day 2009, when Dan Schreiber wrote this funny fake article about the U of I naming “Wrastlin’ Abe” as their new mascot? Well, the folks at the Lincoln (Neb.) Journal-Star are either in on our little joke (more likely, as we’ve always been big in Nebraska) or else they just didn’t want to post a pic of the Chief (lily-livered Nebraskan bleeding hearts, all of ’em).
