Every Monday from 10–11 p.m. on 90.1FM, local bands play live on the air (and also streaming at weft.org). We’re always on the lookout for new bands. I’ve been booking the show since 2004, and try as I may to know about every act in town, some certainly slip through the cracks. The schedule through the summer is pretty open right now and I’d love to fill it up with new faces and returning favorites.
Bands don’t have to conform to any sort of lineup or instrument makeup; we’ve done everything from metal to big band to singer/songwriter to DJ. Performers get a soundboard copy of their set after the performance from engineer Mike Feldman, which you can do all sorts of fun things with.
