From WEFT press release: On Sunday, September 23, singer-songwriter Michael Kammin, Corstalkers Cajun Band featuring Tom and Matt Turino and friends, and the local blues band, The Painkillers will perform for WEFT-FEST 2012, live from Mike ‘N Molly’s Beer Garden in downtown Champaign. Many musicians have performed for WEFT-FEST over the years, including Captain Rat and the Blind Rivets, Allison Kraus, The Poster Children, Candy Foster, UI Steel Drum Band, Parkland Jazz Orchestra, Jeff Helgesen and many jazz performaers, Jordan Kaye and The Prairie Dogs, Bodacious String Band, Children’s Conservatory of East Central Illinois, Kilborn Alley, Delta Kings, The Blues Decons, Tractor Kings, and more.
The station offers a live local program for musicians to perform each Monday night, from 10:00–11:00 p.m. called The WEFT Sessions. For more information, go here.
