The B1G Network and University of Illinois developed this 30 minute mini-documentary about three of UIUC’s most celebrated exports, architect Max Abramovitz, sculptor Lorado Taft, and football coach and painter, Robert Zuppke.
All three are wonderfully produced, and highly entertaining. I have always been partial to Max Abramovitz, personally. As the designer of local landmarks, Hillel Center, Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, and State Farm Center (previously Assembly Hall), his works also include Tour Gan, in Paris, France and Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center plus the UN Complex in New York City.
