The Urbana Park District is bringing back it’s summer concert series beginning tonight at Carle Park with Backyard BBQ band. Neighborhood Nights are free, and will happen at a different Urbana park every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. through August 7th.
We seem to have a respite from the rain and storms tonight, and Carle Park is one of the loveliest parks in C-U, so grab your chairs and blankets and maybe some snacks or a picnic dinner (there will be free popcorn and lemonade if you don’t want to bring anything) and enjoy some music and neighbors.
Here’s the schedule for the summer:
May 29: Backyard BBQ Band at Carle Park
June 5: Love Sign at Anita Purves Nature Center
June 12: New Souls at South Ridge Park
June 19: Keith Harden at Blair Park
June 26: Sapphire at Lohmann Park
July 3: Jive Bag at Victory Park
July 10: D R Dixie Band at AMBUCS Park
July 17: Kilborn Alley at Crestview Park
July 24: Wildwood at Larson Park
