Unnatural Disasters begins today

This weekend, The Unit for Criticism and Interpretive Theory at the U of I hosts Unnatural Disasters: Climate Change and the Limits of the Knowable, a conference about — you guessed it — climate change and environmental studies. 

The line up is impressive, bringing together the brightest minds working on this subject. Thursday’s keynote speech will be delivered by Anna Tsing from the University of California, Santa Cruz. U of I participants include Gillen Wood, Zsuzsa Gille, Jesse Ribot, Donna Cox, Thomas Bassett, Trevor Birkenholtz, Jamie L. Jones, and Ryan Griffis.
