Dump and Run is the Y’s annual event aimed at keeping unwanted items out of landfills. They have two collection periods, one as students are moving out and one at the beginning of August, then those items are sorted and prepared for a giant sale at the end of August. We wrote about it back in May.
That second round of collections is coming up quickly, and they are in need of volunteers to help. Volunteer shifts begin as early as August 8th, and those who volunteer for 6 or more hours get access to the pre-sale, before the public shopping days. You can sign up to volunteer here.
