NOBE Illinois and the Cracked Food Truck have paired up for a presentation: Turn your passion into a business.
At 5 p.m., Thursday, April 23rd the public is invited to Everitt Lab 165 to eat some Cracked Food Truck food and hear owner Daniel Krause talk about how he got his food business off the ground, and how you can do the same. Here’s the info, per the Facebook event:
Ever thought about starting your own business? Have a passion that you want to turn into a career? Come listen to a presentation by Cracked, hosted by NOBE. Food from the truck will be served!
Daniel Krause is the owner of the Cracked Food Truck that has grown into the UIUC campus culture. His talk will range from the beginning of his business to the current presence on campus; in particular, how to go from just a food stand into a business, how to better market the truck, how to pick locations, what to do in the summers, where to get their supplies from…etc.
The talk will be followed by open questions and of course Cracked food will be there! We are finding the best way to provide as many people with food as possible. Stay tuned for a possible sign up system if need be. Make sure to join this event if going, as this is how we will gauge attendance for food. All are welcome.
Check the event page for details, as the location may change.
