Last week, I stopped by Common Ground Food Co-op for a few grocery items, and since it was lunchtime, I picked up lunch for myself and my husband. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel ($7.25). It was good — not the best one I’ve had from Common Ground, but a solid, if slightly expensive breakfast sandwich.
My husband had the turkey and bacon melt (turkey, bacon, cheese, $8.25) with a bowl of the chicken and andouille gumbo (16oz, $4.99). Both were great.
If you’re in need of hearty lunch, Common Ground has the options. If you’re in need of a light lunch, Common Ground has those in the way of the salad bar and grab and go options. Check out the cafe menu here; the weekly soup menu is here.
