A couple of months ago we spoke with Parasol about their place in the community as a local record store, but today we’re going to focus on how the function as a record label. We’ll be talking to Jim Kelly about how Parasol’s various imprints have functioned over the years, discussing their lineup of local, national and international acts. And we’ll specifically we’re going to ask Jim about one of his favorite bands, The Soundtrack of Our Lives, who will be making their Champaign debut at the HighDive next Thursday, June 2. We might even let Jim play a few of his favorite TSOOL songs.
