The City of Champaign suspended parking payments on March 18th for meters, parking lots, and the Hill Street garage.
That order will expire on June 30th, and payment will again be required, effective July 1st. However, curbside pickup zones will remain in effect, and there will be no charge for parking there while you are picking up food in Downtown Champaign.
Beginning today, you may find a yellow card on your windshield as a friendly reminder that payment will be required soon.
