Thotcrime‘s new album is officially out, and it’s an absolute ride. Within the 24 minute album, you’ll get jolted around from cybergrind and hardcore, to hyperpop and more with unrelenting energy from the band.
This record feels like getting slapped in the face, and then a hug, and then an immediate punch to the stomach, followed by a kiss. Does that make sense? I don’t know. Basically, this album jumps from incredibly hard hitting riffs and gutteral yells to softer moments that feel like a break before all hell breaks loose.
In short, this album is wild and unique and I absolutely loved it. D1G1T4L_DR1FT is out now on Prosthetic Records. Check it out on Bandcamp below, or check out the band’s Linktree to listen on other platforms.
