Just announced today, rock band The Smashing Pumpkins will be headlining the 2022 Summer Camp Music Festival.
The band is hugely influencial in the alternative music scene, their 1995 album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, and the group is considered one of the best bands to come out of the 90s.
The group has not played central Illinois in 15 years, and will be joining many other bands at the festival in May. The group released their double-album Cyr last year.
