Books to Prisoners has not held their popular bi-annual book sale in two years, and now it’s coming back October 16th and 17th at the Independent Media Center. You can shop Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a bag sale from 4 to 5 p.m.
Money raised from the sale helps the organization fulfill book requests from people who are incarcerated. If you are interested in donating books or dollars, or if you’d like to volunteer, you can find out how to do that here.
