Take a virtual trip to space at Champaign Public Library on April 11th

Champaign Public Library’s Speciality Tech series continues from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, April 11th with an opportunity to learn about space using virtual reality programs and equipment. 

Erik Johnson, director of the William M. Staerkel Planetarium and associate professor of astronomy at Parkland College, will teach you about space as you use an Expeditions 2.0 Virtual Reality kit. 

Space is limited to 15 participants and though free, you need to register for a spot
