Take a moment to be Intrigued at the IMC

The IMC Gallery has been hosting an exhibition curated by artist Tim Stone, from the Chicago Studio of The Arts of Life. Tim has credited his own art with many things, from improving his mood, to helping him with his perceptive disorder, eventually allowing him to obtain a driver’s license. That kind of focus, unique to artists as they attempt and re-attempt to create reality from an idea, has been the uniting theme of the works he has chosen for the current show.

The same way that the participating artists hope to inspire curiosity, Stone hopes to spread the word about The Arts of Life beyond Chicago, inspiring others to create more communities like it. These artists will be at the closing reception happening this Friday, August 28th from 5-7pm at the IMC (in Urbana’s old post office at 202 S. Broadway Ave).

Being outside Chicago ourselves, this is a great opportunity for us to learn, experience, connect, and spread the word. Take a moment to join Tim and the other artists, and become Intrigued.
