Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor to visit Krannert Center March 7th

Per the Krannert Center website, they’ve announced Justice Sonia Sotomayor will be visiting C-U on March 7th. This is an awesome guest, and a particularly interesting one considering the recent events surrounding Supreme Court Justice Scalia’s death.

Here’s the information:

A CONVERSATION WITH U.S. SUPREME COURT JUSTICE SONIA SOTOMAYOR
MONDAY, MARCH 7, 2016, AT 7PM | FOELLINGER GREAT HALL

The University of Illinois College of Law will host A Conversation with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Justice Sotomayor will discuss a wide range of topics with College of Law Professor Robin B. Kar.

The event is sponsored by the University of Illinois College of Law and is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. Tickets will be available beginning February 15 at 10 a.m. via phone at (217) 333-6280, in person at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts Ticket Office counter, or online at KrannertCenter.com.

Following the event, Justice Sotomayor will be available to sign a limited number of copies of her book “My Beloved World” in the Krannert Center Lobby, 8:30 – 9:30 p.m. Books may be purchased at the Illini Union Bookstore, or at the Promenade Shop at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
