Rock and electronica act SNST, the latest project from Chris Broach of Braid, have released a new single and video. “Maybe We’ve Got It” debuted via Alternative Press on Friday, ahead of the release of the group’s first album, Turn Out The Lights, due in early April. The video for the single features cameos, including one from Bob Nanna of Braid. It also has fun animation and a light vibe, which together convey the song’s theme of self-fulfillment and happiness.
Chris Broach found popularity as a guitarist and vocalist for the C-U emo band Braid, who were an integral part of the local and nation-wide emo and alt-rock wave in the 90s. The group has since disbanded and reformed several times, and Broach has pursued other musical endeavors. Broach formed The Firebird Band in the 90s, and has now stepped into a different artistic endeavor with Sunset, which features both Broach and Steve Znavor (of The Firebird Band).
