Centennial, Central, and Urbana high schools have joined forces, sharing grant funding to show students the professional opportunities afforded by an interest in the arts: curator, museum educator, gallery installer, event planner, and caterer will be emphasized in addition to “practicing artist.” Thanks to three teachers, 100 art students among the three schools will enjoy activities at Krannert Art Museum, continue to collaborate throughout the year, and host a cross-district, student-led art show.
