This Sunday, May 15th, there will be a lunar eclipse that will be visible to most of North America (as long as the clouds stay away). The C-U Astronomical Society and Planetarium staff will be setting up telescopes for community members to come and catch a glimpse.
Here in our area, the Moon will begin to move into Earth’s shadow around 9:30 p.m., and the full eclipse will begin at 10:30 p.m. and last for about 80 minutes.
Visitors are asked to park in the M1 or C4 parking lots.
