Homer Lake Interpretive Center and the Champaign-Urbana Astronomical Society are hosting an evening of star gazing on Saturday, October 2nd at Middle Fork River Forest Preserve. From 6:30 to 11 p.m., you’ll have an opportunity to view the sky and stars at a designated Dark Sky Park. There will be telescopes on hand so you can get a better view. Meet at the activity center for an introduction, then you’ll make your way outside to view the stars.
