During last night’s Unit 4 School Board meeting, they approved the project of renovating the Spalding Park area north of Downtown Champaign — a project costing $3.6M. All of this was a part of the Unit 4 Referendum passing back in November 2016.
Per the Gazoo, linked above, the project “should be completed by October 2018, with play starting at Spalding in the spring of 2019.”
