The 2016 Parkland College of Art and Design Student Juried Exhibition is ongoing, but they have announced the Scholarship and award winners.
From over 315 submissions, 15 were chosen for a Merit Award for outstanding work, and among them was Smile Politely staff photographer Scott Wells for his photograph, Faces, pictured left.
Since I respect and appreciate the work he does, especially with live theatre, I wanted to be the one to 
officially congratulate him on our SPlog.
Scott has worked with Smile Politely for almost two years and is also a Navy veteran and a U of I graduate.
