Concert June 4th @ 8 PM: The Two Man Gentlemen Band- a modern rhythm & blues/swing duo out of Brooklyn, NY; they “prove that making old-fashioned music needn’t be polite or predictable” (Time Out New York). Dressed in vaudeville suits and singing about naughty behavior, the fun rowdy duo entertains audiences with a modern take on early jazz, blues, and swing. In 2009 The Gentlemen made their radio & television debut on the Bob & Tom Show and opened a handful of concerts for the Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, & John Mellencamp summer tour. It seems like some folks in the CU area are growing tired of the always hoppin’, sometimes rowdy downtown scene in Champaign or Urbana.
