Sitara Indian Restaurant & Lounge’s official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony will happen this afternoon, October 30, at 4:30 p.m., with food/drink specials and special desserts.
Per the Urbana Business Association’s press release:
For the grand opening celebration, there will be door prizes and drawings from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with food and drink specials for the duration of the event. Cake and other special desserts that are not on the menu will also be served free of charge during the celebration. This event is free and open to the public.

Please stop by for a minute and enjoy a glass of wine or try one of our Indian beers, or stay for a bit and have dinner.”

Sitara is located at 114 S. Race in Urbana, and is open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
