Saru Ramen, Champaign-Urbana’s pop-up ramen event, has scheduled it’s latest feast.
From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, Saru Ramen will offer
“Kinoko,” a rich, healthy bowl of mushroom miso ramen in the style of Kenchinjiru, a Buddhist vegetarian classic. Each bowl comes with hand-made noodles, bean sprouts, braised greens, woodear mushrooms, and green onions.
Supplements will be available at seating time and will include roast maitaki mushrooms, ground pork, soy-marinated egg, and a few other surpises.
