Confirmed: Bernie Sanders to visit the ARC tomorrow

Yes, friends, it’s true. Tomorrow, presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will be in Champaign-Urbana, holding a rally on campus at the University of Illinois at the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC). Doors open at 11 AM.

From the looks of it, C-U is certainly feeling the Bern, and with Illinois’ primary coming up on Tuesday, Champaign certainly makes sense as a campaign destination, especially with someone who resonates with young people as well as Bernie Sanders does.

UPDATE: This is now confirmed via an email blast from Illinois for Bernie. You can RSVP here

From the email:

Bernie is coming to Champaign on Saturday to hold “A Future to Believe In” rally — don’t miss this chance to see him in person! Join us for a conversation about the issues that matter: making college tuition-free, getting big money out of politics, combating climate change, and much more.

As we fast approach the Illinois primary on Tuesday, March 15, we need everyone to get involved to make this event a success. Can Bernie count on you to join him at the rally?
