Habitat for Humanity ReStore to Expand Hours This Spring

CHAMPAIGN, IL March 27th, 2018 —

Habitat for Humanity ReStore will be expanding the ReStore hours beginning April 3rd.  “The demand for accessibility to both drop offs and pickups increases every year at this time” according to Megan Herakovich, Habitat ReStore Manager.  “We always want our donors and customers to have the best possible experience, so we’ll be expanding our hours of operation starting next week.  Beginning Tuesday, April 3, the Restore will be open for customer shopping, donation drop-offs & pickups on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10–6 pm and Saturdays from 10–4 pm. The ReStore will be closed on Sundays, and open to receive donations on Mondays from 10-4,” said Herakovich.  Staff and volunteers will be available Mondays to accept and process community donations at the back door, but the store will not be open for shopping.

The ReStore will also continue FREE, pre-scheduled donation pickups; Tuesday through Saturday by calling the ReStore at 217-359-0507.  All donations to, and proceeds from the ReStore are used to support Habitat home building projects in Champaign County.  For more information on what the ReStore accepts please go to http://cuhabitat.org/re-store/donate-materials/.
