Polyvinyl Record Company is currently seeking internship applicants for the remainder of 2014.
Are you currently living in the Champaign-Urbana area and available 9-12 hours a week between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday?
Want to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into how an independent record label operates?
If so, we want you to be a Polyvinyl intern!
What an internship is
Assisting our Mailorder team by:
- making boxes
- folding t-shirts
- prepping pre-orders
- maintaining inventory
- updating our website
Helping our Production Department by:
- assembling records
- taking on general tasks around the office
Lending a hand to the Retail and Press/Publicity Departments when needed.
What an internship is not
- Getting coffee for the boss
- Sitting down with Kevin Barnes to hash out the new of Montreal record
- Paid (though you can earn college credit…and some free records)
