You might have heard of the folks over at Pizza FM, a new entirely student-run freeform independent radio station at the University of Illinois, have been prepping their station to launch for quite some time now. We’ve talked to them and discussed the project and they even did an Indigogo campaign to help raise some funds for the station. Now, their work pays off as they’re launching the station next Sunday, September 22nd.

After two and a half years of hard work and wonderful support from Champaign-Urbana, on this date in history Pizza FM will officially launch as a 24/7 freeform non-commercial internet college radio station!
