I love looking through the crafts at the Taste. This year, Robin’s booth, Willey Pottery, really caught my eye. She has hand crafted oil burning lamps made from stoneware clay. I think they’re beautiful, old-timey, and lively. Not to mention unique and at $20 a solid deal.
I asked Robin about how she came to the idea to make the lamps. “All of us craft people try and not make what other people are making.” As I talked with her she continued to craft up little cute mushrooms.
I suggest stopping by Robin’s tent during the taste today. It is on the east side of West Side Park.
