U2 played at the “University of Illinois Auditorium” (a.k.a. Foellinger Auditorium). In his typical interactive nature, Bono grabbed a camera from a photographer in the front row and took a picture of the audience, then danced with a fan during “11 O’Clock Tick Tock.” Here is U2 performing live in 1982, when Bono still climbed on scaffolding and Adam was sporting what would become the infamous blond ‘fro.
U2 is streaming their twelth studio album, No Line on the Horizon (which drops March 3) on their MySpace page.
