The No New Jails campaign will march in the 4th of July parade this Thursday.
Champaign County representatives will be voting on this issue this Fall, and the No New Jails campaign wants to raise awareness by participating in the parade. They are #36, and will have a truck, a sign, and posters.
Meet at the Independent Media Center parking lot at 9:00 a.m. to gather posters and drive over together, or join the group at the Assembly Hall parking lot (spot #36) at 10:00 a.m.
The parade begins at 11:00 a.m.
